# Build Flying Cars — An X1 Racing Initiative

> A race to accelerate personal air mobility — from the track, to the public sector, to the defense industry, to your garage. We're building AI-assisted, remotely raced eVTOL flying vehicles and recruiting the innovators, engineers, and builders who will get us there.

## About

Build Flying Cars is Project Maximum Boost — an X1 Racing initiative. We pair human-capable remote piloting with an AI safety co-pilot to generate the real-world AI-assisted flight data that the advanced air mobility (AAM) industry needs to escape FAA certification limbo. The technology earns its way out from the racetrack into the public sector (emergency response, medical airlifts, infrastructure inspection, point-to-point air transport), into the defense industry (DoD tactical mobility, special ops insertion, combat casualty evacuation, logistics), and eventually into personal urban air mobility.
